Subaru is releasing their new models for this year to dealerships near Baton Rouge, and in the cities across the U.S. The 2016 Subaru Outback will be out as well, with all new features and significant upgrades. If you’re waiting in line for this new model, here are a few things to expect:
More Safety Features
They don’t call Subaru one of the safest car manufacturers in 2015 for nothing. As it turns out, Subaru is gearing up more in the safety department as it cranks out new features. The new generation Eyesight safety system equipped with crash prevention and Lane Keep Assist functions will debut in the 2016 Outback. There is also the limited Blind Spot Detection + Rear Cross Traffic Alert to watch out for on Limited and Premium trims.
Small Upgrades and Comebacks
With a manufacturer like Subaru, even the smallest detail gets attention. The new Outback will get an auto on/off mode that allows the windshield wipers to operate with the headlights. Making a comeback is the electric power-assist steering drive that once was equipped with the older models. This welcome addition will give the steering experience a more linear and natural feel.
STARLINK Infotainment Safety
Subaru’s STARLINK infotainment system was groundbreaking when it was first released with last year’s models. Now, they are adding more safety features to the system. Some of the most notable features that come with the STARLINK Safety Plus package are SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, and Automatic Collision Notification.
